Israeli spying on US swept under rug, report claims
Times of Israel
Israel’s aggressive spying activities in the United States are routinely covered up because of Jerusalem’s powerful connections in Congress, Newsweek alleged Thursday, quoting unnamed former US intelligence officials.
“It has been extensive for years,” an official told the magazine on Wednesday.
“There is a small community of ex-CIA, FBI and military people who have worked this account who are absolutely cheering on [Newsweek's original] story,” he said. “Not one of them is anti-Semitic. In fact, it has nothing to do with anti-Semitism. It has only to do with why [Israel] gets kid-glove treatment when, if it was Japan doing it or India doing it at this level, it would be outrageous.”
The official was responding to vigorous denials by Israeli officials, including one who said that some of the reported was “tainted by a whiff of anti-Semitism.”
The Thursday report followed a Newsweek article two days before that anonymously quoted senior US intelligence officials and congressional staffers who have been privy to information on Israeli spying activities. Staffers called the extent of Israeli espionage “sobering” and “shocking,” far exceeding similar activities by any other close US allies.
Its way worse than that.
What of those Americans, Australians, Europeans, British and Russian's who identify as "Jewish" who have served in the Israeli Defence Force? They come back to their country of origin and gain employment in the private and public sector, in the armed forces, intelligence community and IT industry.
Let me give you an example - Leon Wende.
Leon served in the Israeli Defense Force. Exactly where is hazy but a rear seat operator of some kind in a reconnaissance aircraft was mentioned. Here in Australia he worked for AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE INDUSTRIES. Its a private company. His specialty is software and hardware installation. His claim to fame is installing the sensor and weapons systems on Australia's relatively new submarine the Collins Class.
|RAN Rankin - Collins Class Submarine|
The author of the authoritative book on the Collins Class debacle - Peter Yule - denies this is true. In fact he replied to me via email, "Pigs might fly." But, why would Leon say such a thing? It has a ring of truth about it. When I first published this in 2005 I was followed and harassed.
Leon visits Israel regularly. IN fact he "disappears" there often. I bet the Chinese have ALL of the details of this sub. Perhaps that's why the Australian tax payers are going to spend a further $40 BILLION DOLLARS on ANOTHER submarine class after we just ironed out the bugs on this one? The decision is coming under review due to budget cuts. However, the original decision to replace came in mid 2009, not long after I was charged. I told Detectives I would be making the Collins Class submarine and Leon Wende an issue at my trial. I'm sure its just a co-incidence.
Leon also did work on installing the latest encrypted radio communications at Campbell Barracks - home of Australia's SAS. I wonder if they're RAD GROUP communications equipment? This company was started by Israeli Jew Zohar Zispel - a former officer in Israeli Military Intelligence.
Prior to founding RAD, Mr. Zisapel served as head of the Electronic Research Department of the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv and received the Israel Defense Prize in 1979. Mr. Zisapel was honored with both the Israel Export Award and the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1994 and the Hugo Raminceanu Award for Economics in 1996. He was nominated by the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology as a Distinguished Fellow of its Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 1998, received an Israeli Industry Life Award in 1999, a Doctor Honoris Causa from the Technion in 2001, and the Israel Communications Award in 2004.
Zohar Zisapel received both his bachelors and masters degrees in electrical engineering from the Technion. He also holds a masters degree in business administration from Tel Aviv University.
From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Zisapel served as Chairman of the Israel Association of Electronic Industries."
Zisapel was one of the first graduates trained under OPERATION TALPIOT whereby Israeli Military Intelligence trained their best in hardware and software design. Here is a short extract from the Wall STreet Journal -

After graduating from high school in 1993, Arik Czerniak entered a secretive Israeli military program called Talpiot. The country's most selective institution, it accepts 50 students a year and trains them in physics, computers and other sciences. Its mission is to create innovative, tech-savvy leaders capable of transforming Israel's military.Upon graduating from the nine-year program, Mr. Czerniak took a different route: He helped launch Metacafe Inc., an online company that lets users post short videos, such as a clip of an acrobatic squirrel and one of a bikini-clad woman making a snow-angel. Now 32 years old, Mr. Czerniak spends most of his time in the Israeli company's new offices in Palo Alto, Calif.
Three decades after Talpiot was founded to modernize the Israeli army, the program has created an unforeseen byproduct -- a legion of entrepreneurs that has helped turn Israel into a technology juggernaut. ...
Operation Talpiot was first put out in the 9-11 researcher field about 2007. Christopher Bollyn mentions it too. But it has largely been forgotten.Zohar Zisapel, the RAD dad of the world's telecom industry
By Karin Kloosterman
February 02, 2009"I don't like big organizations," Zohar Zisapel, the co-founder and chairman of RAD Data Communications, one of Israel's most successful groups of companies. Rumor has it that one of Israel's most successful entrepreneurs -- Zohar Zisapel, a founder of RAD Data Communications -- wears sandals and jeans to work, and flies economy class. The sandals part is true, he tells ISRAEL21c, but he no longer flies economy.
RAD has helped change life as we know it -- enabling high-speed and wireless communication, and secure telephone networks and banking. Today, RAD is a solutions provider for more than 100 telecom operators around the world, including AT&T, British Telecom, Deutsche Telecom, France Telecom, Japan Telecom, and Orange France. It provides communications tools to major players in the banking, commerce, education, finance, government, military, transportation, and utility sectors.
Born in Tel Aviv in 1949, Zisapel's father -- an immigrant from Poland -- was a shoe salesman. Before becoming the head of the Electronic Research Department of the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv, Zisapel had studied at the Technion -- Israel Institute of Technology for two degrees, then went on to Tel Aviv University for an MBA.
In 1981, he quit the Ministry of Defense and start RAD from the back offices of Bynet, a company his brother had started. Zohar's first assignment at RAD was to manage the development of the company's first product -- a mini modem that would change the computer industry.
First and foremost, Danny was known for his brilliance. He published and presented several breakthrough papers at top computer science conferences and received several awards, including the 1998 Morris Joseph Lewin Award for Best Masterworks Thesis Presentation at MIT. His master's thesis included some of the fundamental algorithms that make up the core of Akamai's services. He was a Ph.D. candidate in the Algorithms group at MIT's Laboratory for Computer Science.
Previously, Danny worked at IBM's research laboratory in Haifa, Israel, where he was a full-time research fellow and project leader while simultaneously completing two undergraduate degrees at the Technion, Israel's premier technology university. In 1995, Technion named him the year's Outstanding Student in Computer Engineering. At IBM, he was responsible for the development and support of the company's Genesys system, a processor verification tool that is used widely within IBM and in other companies such as AMD and SGS Thompson.
Here, a psychology site gives a more detailed background. Look at where he came from, look at where he trained and look at where he worked and on what -
Born in Colarado - middle class existence etc. There is no need to worry about Americans being targetted by spies in Israel, the spies are already in the US - they were born there.
The Genius Who Perished on Flight 11Daniel Mark Lewin was almost certainly the first victim of the 9/11 attacks. But before he was killed in a struggle on Flight 11 at the age of 31, he wrote a set of algorithms that changed the Internet forever and made him a billionaire overnight. Lewin was also, ironically, an ex-commando trained in Israel's most elite army unit to hunt and kill terrorists. Twelve years after his death at the hands of terrorists, Lewin's extraordinary life has finally come to light.
Daniel Lewin and Leon Wende are the PERFECT examples of the SAYANIM that are already well and truly embedded into the key technology points of the planet. What did former Mossad Case Officer Viktor Ovstrovsky say about the Sayanim?
"The next day Ran S. delivered a lecture on the sayanim, a unique and important part of the Mossad's operation. Sayanim —assistants — must be 100 percent Jewish. They live abroad, and
though they are not Israeli citizens, many are reached through
their relatives in Israel. An Israeli with a relative in England, for
example, might be asked to write a letter saying the person
bearing the letter represents an organization whose main goal is to help save Jewish people in the Diaspora. Could the British relative help in any way?
There are thousands of sayanim around the world. In London alone, there are about 2,000 who are active, and another 5,000 on the list. They fulfill many different roles. A car sayan, for example, running a rental agency, could help the Mossad rent a car without having to complete the usual documentation. An apartment sayan would find accommodation without raising suspicions, a bank sayan could get you money if you needed it in the middle of the night, a doctor sayan would treat a bullet wound without reporting it to the police, and so on.The idea is to have a pool of people available when needed who
can provide services but will keep quiet about them out of loyalty
to the cause. They are paid only costs. Often the loyalty of sayanim
is abused by katsas who take advantage of the available help for
their own personal use. There is no way for the sayan to check
this. One thing you know for sure is that even if a Jewish person knows
it is the Mossad, he might not agree to work with you — but he
won't turn you in. You have at your disposal a non risk
recruitment system that actually gives you a pool of millions of
Jewish people to tap from outside your own borders. It's much
easier to operate with what is available on the spot, and sayanim
offer incredible practical support everywhere. But they are never
put at risk — nor are they privy to classified information."By Way Of Deception: The Unmasking Of A Mossad Officer" p.86-87
People who identify as "Jews" are found in ALL highly sensitive positions and pose a great national security risk. In fact, a GIANT national security risk.
No wonder Israel controls America and by proxy, the world.
